Information we collect
We collect personal information from you as set out below:
Information you provide when Booking a Scenic Flight, including your name, address and contact details.
Bank account or credit card information for billing purposes.
Using your information
The purpose for collecting your personal information is to:
Comply with Passenger reporting requirements in the Civil Aviation Act.
Contact you in relation to your Scenic Flight e.g. if there are changes to your Scenic Flight.
Obtain payment for your Scenic Flights.
Improve our services to you and our customers.
We may use and disclose non-personally identifiable information. For example, we advise the Civil Aviation Authority of the number of Passengers we carry and the flying hours flown each month. However, we do not disclose any of your personal information in these ways.
If you choose not to provide us with essential Passenger information for a Scenic Flight, we may breach the Civil Aviation Act. Rather than breach the legislation, we will cancel your Booking.
Copies of your information
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at:

Information storage and security
We will keep your personal information private and secure in our systems, including in a cloud environment. We are ultimately responsible for the safety and security of your personal information and we will take all reasonable steps to do so.
Assurance and third parties
Where we work with other companies to contact you (by email for example), we require those companies to treat your personal information in the same manner as we do. We will only provide those companies with the minimum personal information to achieve that purpose e.g. your email address.
Police and law enforcement agencies
Police and law enforcement agencies may request personal information to be released. We will consider the nature of their request and make an assessment in relation to the Privacy Act obligations we have to protect your personal information. This means we will consider whether a serious threat exists and that we believe on reasonable grounds that disclosure is necessary to lessen or prevent that serious threat.
Your personal information will be disposed of as soon as there is no longer a requirement to retain this information or where you request us in writing to do so. This means that after you cancel a Booking or complete a Scenic Flight, your personal information will be deleted from our systems.
